I'm going for ENGLISH TUITION!!!

Okay, I think I am supposed to feel happy cause I am really hoping english tuition might help me to pull up my resuls. This gonna be my first tuition classes since primary 6. The tuition centre is Kentridge, Eve's tuition centre. But too bad, I'm not in the same class as her, mine is on wed, 7.30-9.30pm. All the classes are already full, each class maximum 20 students (which I think is alot) And to be honest, I looked at the room and wonder how 20 students can squeezed into the room for tuition. Hope it would be comfortable. I really need help in English. It is very worrying to know that the most impt subject (EL) is on the borderline result and at any time, there's is a possibility of failing.

I sort of look forward to wed but I'm also abit nervous about it. New tuition lessons, new friends, sound like the first day of school in SHSS. haha. Nvm, I will be more sociable on that day itself. MAKE FRIENDS. (how do you even make friends in the first place?)

Saturday went to catch Harry Potter.. yes finally. I was looking forward to the release of harry potter since last year and because of twilight, harry potter and the half-blood prince was postponed to 2009 which I think was a great disappointment to all the HP fans. Not that I am one of them, but I like the story plot and the magic the coolest of all. MAGIC. and the spells. Cresendo, Maximus and etc. it's fun to learn the spell. haha
I don't rlly like Twilight the movie, prefer the book. HP is different is like full of special effects, magics...

Me, Eve, Darren, Jeremy went to Tampines Mall GV to catch the movie. Initially we wanted to catch the 10.45am time slot but later changed to the 11.20pm. cause we wanted to buy some tibits to smuggle in the cinema. Cinema food damn X so it's much cheaper to buy the food from fairprice. haha
And the funny thing was we are like going for a picnic in the threatre. Darren was like: "(whispering) Lynn, you want pop-corn?"
"Lynn, Jeremey asked me to asked you, you want mentos?"

Yesterday was ST Hilda's 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner at Orchand Hotel.
V tired, and came home very late abt 12 plus. lucky I was successful with escaping from the HAIRDRESSER who sprayed like tons of hairspary and add gel onto the girls' hair like it's free. it's damn alot. I tried to make my hair wet at all time so I will not have to gel my hair. I think I am one of the few who manage to escape from her. haha
but it's really scary. Hairspray and gel are bad for the hair, it dehydrate the hair and loss its moisture. and the worst thing is u will DROP MORE HAIR LiKE SIAO CHA BO

Haha, i just watched Confession of A Shopaholic on youtube.. actually it's not really that bad the quality but the bad thing is I have to wait for it load. The book and the movie is completely different. haha. but still it's quite funny. I love the part when she tried breaking her frozen credit card with her heels and when he slap the finnish guys face because she doesn't understand him. it is funny. I love the ending, Becky paid her debt off throught the most inconvenice way by putting all the coins into jars and jars on Derick Smeath's office which it already v small.

O and the male lead character is quite cute. haha. agree with Fadiah

OH guess what.. i must be a super slow and lagging person to found out that there is actually a album of the band performances like impressions and etc.

Sign... School Holidays over. damn sad and sian.
Now, everything gg back to normal.
because of the H1n1, our sch had to spent almost one hour checking the whole class to make sure no want is affected by the flu or else, everyone will be qurantine.

I know i am probably abit lacking in my post.
Nv, I am gg to rewind some events that happened recently which I had no time to post it on my blog
First, there is the Synergy Night at the esplanade
I tink the only thing I can rmb abt it is that I love the backstage and the acoustic of the hall., was damn gd.
The backstage was like OMG, like as if I am a superstar. Though the rm for us(the flute section), but I like the mirriors on the side of the room and locker and locker and THE TOILET!!!!
It's so BIg for a small rm, cool.
me and siti was hysteria, we kept on taking picts. After the first rehersal, we had our free time. I was already nervous, i practiced many times to make sure I dn forget any part of the score for Carmen (but i tink i had forgotten everything now already since SYF is over) me and siti

Okay, and since I am already talking about band.

So I just talk abt SYF at the central judging (Singapore Conference Hall)

SHWO was the second bad to perform for the day, so I dn no whether should it be a advantage or disadvantage.

Advatnagde:

-not a rlly high standard set up

-chances of getting gold

Disadvantage:

-the judges might be abit jetlack( bad mood)

and Ya, first, we went to the tuning rm then to the Hall for our final judgement which is where we put in our very best to make sure we live with regret after the whole thing.

For me, there were some hiccups in some parts but overall we did just fine or GREAT..

So, we were all expecting a GOLD, but we got SILVER.

look at the bright side, we had done our part to make sure the sch does continue to maintain the sustainibilty award. For now, it depend on the other asethetic grps to get a SILVER to guranteered the award.

Yesterday was SHSS's 75th founding anniversary aka Founder's Day.
I helped out at for the whole day. Actually in the morning I have band until 1pm.
I woke up with a BIG wollen eyes (because the night before I cried, reason: I got 49.2 for English. The first time in report bk's history I ever appear a fail. Depressing sia. Eng v important. )
My result was mediocal, okay okay.... except for eng... I got 5 As and one stupid fat D7!!!!!
I cried when I received my result slip. It was so unexpected, I tot I would have gotten B4 cause I was quite satisfied with my paper for eng. 27/40 which to me was GD. But it was least expected to get an D7 for eng.
Ahhhh!!!!..... feel so angry, sad, frustrated, depressed. I rlly regretted the reasons why I did not started picking up gd reading habits and gd use of eng since young... communicate too much in Singlish alrdy.

Btw, I should not sidetrack. Back to wat I was saying........
Founder's Day:
-rainy day
-tired day because I spent the whole day in sch. feeling v warm with my tie on and walking around
-drench in the afternoon (thanks to SITI NUR IMAN for that)
-went to mac for lunch
-Shawn came and insulted me saying that I was FAT or should I be a little bit tactful PLUMP!!!

I dn feel happy and looking forward to it in anyway as thought this was known as an holiday but seriously it's not.

I had to come back to sch almost everyday for CCA, council, classes and etc, not to mention we got math pw to complete.

Anyway holiday is the time I usually slack like crap, like now..... using the com.

Today band ends late about 7 plus pm but it's okay because THERE's no school 2moro so I dn have to worried about hw and stuff.

Feel so bored... I feel like going out to the mall and hang out with my mates, but is like WHO? WHEN? WHERE?

Hey guys..
always for so many days for sec 3 camp
It was damn fun. It was probably the best camp i ever participate in.
AwEsome
Though is abit tiring.
The first day of camp was sort of boring. Our instructor Jay brough us around the camp sites in preparation for 2moro crash of the titan (it's a game, sort of like amazing race). The camp sites was big and so deserted.
I realised that Jay like to say :"Naughty ah"
Then we found out that Jay likes Addy whose fave quote is: "stopiteh"
Cool ri.. I wonder if they create the quote to make themselves look together as in together. haha
She was awefully embarrassed when our class shout Addy and Jay in the legacy hall. Our class super enth sia, and also quite bonded compare to other classes who are obviously slacking all the way through the camp. Thanks to Jane, she had came up with many 3J class cheer even before the camp. We were shouting out our class cheer everytime we are in the legacy hall and outside (actuaaly we r like a bunch of attention seeking ppl but who care: this show that we are SUPER DUPER HAPPY and BONDED) Speaking of the obvious, we are indeed the MOST HYPER and bonded class.
It was rlly a great camp where I find that I understand more about my classmates. I bet our class were having a great deal of fun...
The second day was the Crashes of the titans. Race to win however our grp didn't win the race but at least our classs there was two grp who won the race 1st and 2nd. Walk around Sembawang Park using the GPS to guide our way to destinate locations. Play challenges.
At night, there's the night maze where grp of 4 will be ask to go to the area directly downstair of the hall. The area had been made that it was pitch dark and u can hit touch the ceiling just by standing straight. We were left in the hall to watch SHUTTER (OMGosh---it was damnscary) I didn't watch it cause I know if i do actually do so, when I am doing the maze later on, I will be traumatized by the thoughts in my head. After that, the instructors will picked a few students to proceed on to the game. When I was in the maze with Jane, Lap Way, KS and Darren, my heart was feeling rather okay but after that when I found out that we were somehow lost in the middle of the maze (which I couldn't even c my finger), i started to become scared. It was seriously pitch dark..... It worried me. But still, we managed to stumble and find our way out.
The third day was the last day of camp...Yipee.... I v tired
Went to mac with Jane, Eve, Felly, Si min, Jeremy, Darren, Alester, Adam.
went back home to change and return to sch for BANd
After that, meet my bro at tampines interchange went to Doby Ghaut and meet my mum.
Watch Marlyn and Me....
Nice movie. Sad. but Marlyn so cute, in the end he died of twisted stomach.

Next Day, went for music exchange at St Joseph Institution.
Saw Jia Qi (from Tampines Secondary), she was playing the clarinet.
Our band didn't played well.
SJI band played jerico which was gd. give me a shock when the boys suddenly shout "Fight" during their choice piece.
The sch is damn big, when u enter the school gate, it felt as though u walked into a British Colonia Area.

TOO busy..
sec3 got alot of hw, wonder how some ppl can manage their time so well. must learn from them

Frustrating when I got to study until 11 plus at night just to complete my hw.
Sad, this is called the monotonous of life. BOring and dull. but lucky I am always HAPpy,

My parents finally took two days off two days ago to bring us out to relax also spent some "FAMILY QUALITY" time together.

Day 1

WEnt to Pasir Ris Beach-- walk and walk. intended to have dinner at the seaside there but later then we found out that the BBQ dining resturant had already closed down.

Walk to the mall next to the Pasir Chalet.
We didn;t really had a proper dinner there. First stop, ate waffle ice cream n fries at nebo cafe. Second stop, my bro ate the burger at superdog while me and my mum went shopping (but at the mall, there're more stalls for food than shops.)

After all that, my family got tickets to watch Twilight sneak preview at about 9 pm.
Gotta said that the movie was a bit of letdown to fans. maybe it's just that I've read the book. It was quite slow and a bit melodrama however it became relatively fast and exciting.It's a very passionate love story. I really like Kristen, she really capture the emotion and everything. Of course, there are some parts that are really hilarious.
Out of 5 stars, I would give Twilight the movie 3.5

Nevertheless, I love the Twilight series, just that the movie wasn't great.

Day 2
Rest day for my parents. We didn't stayed at home all day, we did went to tm for some shopping. I bought a few clothes for new year and a Op schoolbag. I actually wanted to buy the reebok black shoe as there's a discount on the item but later they found out that the discount for that was already over. I still have to buy school shoe and a dress for the new year. Whereas my bro, he's the lucky one. My mum bought him a pair of addias snicker which cost about $127 nett. Envious...... So X sia...it's like my salary for 3 days at the bookshops.

Been a long time since I last blog actually. Not that I am super busy or wateva crap but MY BRO KEPT ON USING THE COM!
My Holidays are so boring, I'm dying of boredom. It's really frustrating to everyday wake up to do the same thing, watch the tv, use the com, blog and eat and sleep or go for work (which I already finished), still I'm currently helping my dad out at his store. I'm starting to feel so upset about everything, is like HOLIDAY and yet, there's nothing to do. My parents are damned busy these days, my mum got to go work and plan to do housekeeping everytimes she comes back from work, my dad got to work at the stall like totally every single day. It's like so weird and different from others school holiday we had together, we go out have dinner almost every weekend and bond but now, sparse. We don't do things and have together like we use to if you considered helping out at my dad stall called bonding with my dad. But seriously, I hate this holiday. there're like nothing good to do. I'm just so sick and tired of staying at home throughout the entire school holiday. I reckon all my friends must be having a lot of fun, not me...
The worst part of it is that, I don't know, I just feel extremely left out. I mean this is like the longest holiday in a year and so, there's must be something fun and cool to spent your time rather than technically doing nothing.
It's really saddening and depressing to see that I didn't enjoy my holiday when I expected it to be a supposely a great one. Not to say that, my birthday, it was the worst celebration I ever had. My family did had dinner together but it's different. My dad closes his stall at about 8 plus and my mum came back from work, we went to Pizza Hut to celebrate my early birthday before I go for my band camp. Everyone is like yawning, so tired, my dad even slept while waiting for the pizza to arrive at our table. We didn't even talk much, we just ate our food. wHAT?? I can't believe this is what my birthday is going to be like after so much of expectation. I didn't want to you know upset my parents, so I just pretend it was cool. LIKE AS IF, you would feel great when your birthday are like these.

Band Camp

I am so freaking tired but wonder why I doesn't feel like sleeping at all. I just came back from the three day band day camp. The Band Camp was sort of fun and at the same time tough (drills) and also abit disappointing (POP)

First Day, Thur:

Games Day!!!!
had drills which we were coach by two students from the uniform group, Aliff and Adullah (hope I spelt it correctly). Had no fun at all, cause I hated drills, there are always so serious and we are not allow to fridget.
Went to TM GV to watch Madagascar 2. I enjoyed it. I think this is probably the best part of the camp. HELLO, it's private screening. we had our own Popcorn Combo set. At the end of movie, after the lights are switched on, we could see popcorns on the floor everywhere. hahas. Now you know what's going on in the movie! Madagascar 2 is super hilarious. I kept on laughing throughout the movie.Reccommended movie to watch, maybe as a family.
went back to school and had dinner.
Bus ride to East Coast Park for games, which I felt that was average and not really that great. I wondered why the game planner planned the whole game in which it seemed to look like amazing race but on the other hand, we had to walk so many time on the same route we came from, is like we go from Point B to Point C then later we walk from Point C to Point A and then Point A to Point C and etc. It was really frustrating. However, I love the BBQ. had lots of fun.

Second Day, Friday:

Practice Day and was also my Birthday.
Sad, my bday actually falls on the mid of the band camp.
Overall, that day, was like usual band practice.
Drills was quite tiring but I think was more relaxing and fun then the day before. Learn how to march. hahas, at the begining, OHGosh, we looks like robot, supermodel catwalking.
Impromptu Act at about in the evening. Sian... hate that part. sort of boring, every year band camp would have this part.

Yes, I got it....

OMtian, I got the edusave sholarship... It was so sudden, so unexpected.

Yesterday's night, I return home with my dad after closing the stall, we were both feeling tired, exhausted. Like usual, my dad went to check the mail and he saw a letter which was clearly stated for me. Normally, I dn received any post mail/letters, usually if I got one, it would be popular membership cards, my birthday card from the NTUC income and etc. Edusave sholarship is only sent annually during the holidays.

A couple of weeks ago, after I got back my result slip and realising that I got 21 for level position, I thought that I wasn't going to get one cause I wasn't in the top 10%. (Calculate if u dn believe) One thing also for sure, I'm not going to get the Boo Soon Neon Award cause I only gotten 4 A's, I nearly got 6A's loh. :(

Anyway, when I saw the huge printed lettering : EDUSAVE SHOLARSHIP on the top of the envelope with bright orange background, I already knew what's it was all about. I was so overwhelmed that I kept on singing the above songs. haha. from the lift to my door. LOLs

Having the edusave sholarship was like my aim/goal for every year throughout my secondary school life.

When I was sec one, I got one.

It had certainly been a very very busy holiday for me filled with none stop of activities going on. Lucky, from now onwards I just have to work on fri, sat and sun.

Sat: went to Nan Chiau Pri to work. About 8pm plus, have family dinner at Pizza Hut (so called to celebrate my birthday which was during band camp) Sad:rather disappointed when all I got for birthday was a box of ferrero rocher and a cake, not to said, seriously I don't really enjoyed the Pizzas. It didn't taste as delicious as it should taste.

Sun: went to Ai Tong to work, super busy. I stand almost from 9pm to 5pm, they are like so many parents buying uniforms, shoe and etc on that particular day.
Blow my birthday candle. Not that my birthday is on Sun but to have it early cause I will be in camp on my actual bday.

Mon: went for Band meeting. help out at my dad's stall, stayed there until 8 plus to close the stall.
Went home: extremely tired, but I still watch Naria: Prince Caspian.
Realised that Peter aka William Mosely looks quite good in the movie, better looking than the previous series of Naria. hahas. But I am quite confused, he slightly resemble. Lols. Find that Prince Caspian sound a bit wEiRd, like native indian.

Tue: which is today... Watch tv... relax before I had to for Band Camp...and perform for POP (passing out parade)

Can't wait for the first day of band camp in which we are having a private screening at TM GV. cool ri??? the whole entire threatre just for SHWO!!!!!

I was so nervous on tuesday night when I on my computer to check my subject combinations. The feeling was like how I felt when 2 years back I stepped into the school hall to take my PSLE result slips, so damned scary. I log in to my elearn portal and click on the button which linked to the results.
I scrolled down the name list to find my name and
BANG!!!
I got all my choice of the subjects. I was laughing like crazy, kept on saying OMine. It was way better than the feeling I received when I got back my PSLE result slips. Goodness. I can't believe that I actually got what I wanted. hahas. so happy.
Best of all, some of the 2Eians are still in the same class as me in 3J, except for a few of my friends who were shifted to other class. Sad^.^

Anyway today is the release of PSLE results. My bro took back his result and was not really well.But he still have the mood to say jokes and play maple. I guess that is just the way boys are. WEIRD.

Talking about my progress in my job at Ai tong Primary School today. Jordan, my neighbour went to work with me. (I dn tink he actually wanted to go there with me) cause I suspect uncle asked him to do so. I was surprised when he asked to meet him at the void deck this morning to go to work together. I don't even talked to him once, maybe there's once but it's nothing random, which is what ppl do to know more about each other. serious.

haha. It was super awkward. We rarely spoken to each other in the bus and MRT the way there. I tried to ask some random questions but I don't even know what type of qn to ask, all that I thought of sound so crazy to ask. then I decided to forget it and just shut up. hahas. To be frank, it was embarrassing at the same time too, not talking to each other when we are actually going to work together. so abnormal.
On the way home, we got a free ride home by (gosh I forgot his name, but I swear I rmb his name at work just now). same as well, we didn't even speak, just sat at the back of the van keeping quiet.

I can't wait to watch the movie. Hope that I could got the tickets cause I am expecting alot of teens waiting for the release of the movie.

Lost track of time!!!

This few days had been a complete rush and non-stop activity, seen to me like everythings that had happened the past few days or weeks had just flew by. Wow... it's like so.... FAST. I mean I almost forgot what date it is today just now at work when a parent asked me about the date. Luckily I still can remember today is the fourth day I am working for my neighbour. Today and tomorrow, the group are selling shoes at Nan Chiau Primary School. However, I'm not going tomorrow cause I have BAND. Anyway, the next day, which is Thursday, I would be working at Ai Tong Primary School. (Still not really sure what I will be selling on that day) I'm just sure that I gonna be very tired. Yesterday and today were the worst nightmare. They were supposed to be four girls helping out, but one (I heard) she got sent into the hospitals and was not having enough white blood cells in our body. (I almost forgot what's white blood cell is! Science!) hahas. and the other one, I think she had to go to school, cause she is in Poly, so she still have to go back to school once a while. It was quite exhausting walking here and there, up and down, blah blah. My goodness!! Some parents are super picky on everything.. Plus they seemed to be super weathly as well. Seen one with two maid coming school to buy the school stuff for their kids.

Okay, enough of the parents, talking about my so-called colleage:

I talked to her most of the time on the first day there. She was rather quite but friendly. She Jennifer's daughter. However, she didn't turn up on yesterday and today for work.

At first, my first impression on her was that she was a a-lian (cause she had so many piercing on her face and a small star tatoo on her hand) and she looks quite scary and unfriendly. But after getting to know her on the third and fourth day of work, she is quite socialable.
- I forgot her name... think I will know it someday..
She's okay. so-so.
-the guys next door selling books
I think I remember three boys only but I dn know their name, except for one, Jordan, my neighbour.

I can't go for band today because of this problem... my swollen eyelid. Pathetic!!! Irritating!!! Painful!!! as well.
This has been the third time I receive a swollen eyelid on my left eye.
It's something like a pimple under the eyelid and it grows and swell, but after a few days, it will be okay but there will be a very small pimple left inside not heal. I had went to see the doctor the two times I got it but this time, I'm not wasting my money on consultation fees cause I know that the doctor would still the SAME OLD THING. I am gonna just buy the same medicine the doctor prescribe for me once. According to what the doctor has said, it would out come by itself or a minor surgerical removal would help too, or else my eyelid would be prone to being swolling again. ARE you crazy??? a surgerical removal.
no way, am I going to do that. It's painful. plus expensive.
So... now I just gonna wait till the small pimple to come out.
One thing for sure that you can expected to see from me now is that, my left eye is super ugly. and since there is a saying that the eye is an open window to ones heart, and therefore I guess ppl who see me would not know whether I am Kind, Friendly, Happy..... blah blah

Okay, I'm just joking. It's just that, I'm bored at home alone resting. I can't go help my dad's store. Even though my left eye is barely fully OPEN, I wonder why I am blogging right now. hahas.
I think I better end this post and have some rest, hoping that my eye get better. I am working tomorrow anyway, so I don't really want my boss to ask someone to replaced me. Anyway, this is not infectious, it's not a contagious diseases FYI (for your info.)just that I look ugly.
So Excited, tomorrow is my first day working. Okay, I am working at Taonan Primary School, selling girls uniform. I got the job fromthe uncle who is my next door neighbour. I am actually not the only one in the neighbour hired, there are a few others secondary students like me hire. So I rather relieved not to have anyone to talk to. However, my mum wants me to go to work with a sec3 guy, Jordan, who I rarely talked to or should I rephrase it to never talk to before. My mum afraid that I might got lost. HELLO!!! I'm officially an woman since I already had my period. and plus, I would feel abit awkward taking the bus with a guy i never spoken to, it would be really "cold". I means silent, quiet.

Hildan Swing officially Cancelled

News to interested Hildan Swing audiences (if you actually come by this blog), the Hildan Swing is officially cancelled due to certain reasons.

Last band practice, which was on friday, Mr Sim broke the new to us. I think everyone was slightly disappointed by it as well as relieved too.
REASONS for the cancellation:
-many events in the school during the holiday where many band members have to attend
-too many irresponsible member who blatantly refuse to come for band practices
-the time left to our Hildan Swing are very little and limited, yet we had many other yet to be go perfected.
-the unity and spirit of the band are not good
-If Hildan Swing was to go on, the band might suffered from adverse effect as the band can't pushes them to the extreme just to complete the Hildan Swing.

And that's why Hildan Swing is cancelled.
Why a relieved?
cause there are like so many obstruction going on in band, attendance wise, events going on at the same time, thus improvement can't take place as a whole. If the band still continue to go on, pushing every one attending the band in preparation for band, the band might not have enjoy the (informal) Hildan Swing and worst ruin the reputation of SHWO.
Why a disappointment?
I was rather disappointed at first. I had spent like the whole night persuading my mum to come for my performance. Though, I only sold one ticket out of five, I really wish to see myself up on stage with the rest of the band putting up a wonderful performance. Anyway, thinking of it, there are still many to come so I think it's best to think into the future rather remorsing about the past.

No worry, there's still Synergy Night and SYF to come!!!

I am so tired yesterday night and yet, I wake up today at 6.30am in the morning where everyone is like practically sleeping other than my parents who were already at the stall working. I can't sleep, insomnia (tink the spelling is wrong).

I find that during the holidays, I am still like very busy and tired. Not to say, I think I have a big dark ring of circle around my both eyes which look like a panda. LOLs

Later on, about 8 plus, I would be going down to help out at my dad stall, so now I have plenty of time to relax and chill. But I just can't sleep, if this goes on, it would obstruct my beauty sleep. So that's why I decided to post sth on my blog to kill time for the moment before I found any other things to do.

I am feeling quite nervous about my friends coming to support my dad stall later about lunch time. cause I don't know what they are expecting to see, as the stall is basically a stall in a hawker centre. hahas. I hope they don't mind eating there. It's warm and stuffy in there, but if you were to sit outside the hawker, it would be super cool-ing.

OMG, my friends are coming, it've been like two whole weeks since we last met at school which is a sad thing. I can't believe I am going to see them later on.... I am so so so HAPPY!!!! I love 2E!!!!!

Talking about the 2Eians, I really missed them alot, those memories that we had spent together, through hard times and joys we shared, those were rather unforgetable. I bet we all had a great time together.

I've look through the slideshow posted up and seriously I felt like crying. However separation is essential and unavoidable in life but still, I wished 2E will be always together, the 2Eians. :( sob. Xing Xin Ba Ku Tei Stall

My dad had recently opened a new stall at Bedok North Avenue 3 Blk 218. Basically, it sells Ba Ku Tei, many different type of porridge and pig viscera soup and etc, everything mainly are pork. And these few days (today is my fourth day helping out) I had been rather exhausted and busy helping out at my dad stall. He said it was temporary before he found a helper to help him.
My job is basically asking the customers what they want and remembering their faces as it is not self service. So after that, I had to shouted to my dad at the kitchen to tell him about the order. When he finsihes, I am in charge to ganish the soup/porridge and then off I go to search for my customers. Normally, I am okay finding them by remembering their unique features, for example rabbit teeth, plump and short, tall wearing blue striped tee and so on. But when it was about the lunch hour, I would be so damned busy and frustrated figuring out who order this and that. Some customers really pissed me off. When I bring their food to their table, they look at the food and stirred abit and said : "Why never add the egg?", "I want light soya sauce" and etc. Seriously, it was a very tiring job, walking back and forth the same place trying to cater to the individual needs of my customers. Now, I realised how hard to be a waiter in the hawker centre and the life of theirs, being so piss off, when we tried to make their life difficult.
Oh ya, some pathetic customers is troublesome and pain at the neck, they didn't want to order their food from me instead my mum who is also taking a week leave to help out. (Mostly the customers and regular customers are old and eldery people) They said that I don't know how to speak Hokkien and is very difficult to communicate. What the???
HELLO CUSTOMERS, YOU JUST HAVE TO TELL ME IN SIMPLE CHINESE/ENGLISH (but I figure out you don't even know how to speak in English)WHAT YOU WANT TO EAT, THAT ALL!!!! YOU DON'T NEED SOMEONE TO KNOW HOKKIEN TO TAKE YOUR ORDER!!!!
And this is so insulting, indirectly saying that I DON'T KNOW!
Through my experience there, I learnt my lesson: never be choosy cause you make the waiter's life hard unless you are in a high class resturant (because you pay so much for the food plus GST)

Hildan Swing...

SHWO is putting up an performance in our school hall this holiday. Therefore me and my fellow band members still had to go back to school twice a week to practice and prepare for the performance. The performance is held in the SCHOOL HALL which is not air-conditional and practically freaking hot and air tight.
However, as a band member, I think I should be showing more enthu and commitment in it. It would be a great performance if we were to perform in somewhere like a air-conditioned hall and seats that are cushioned.
Still, the performance must go on as this is like a platform for us to improve our skill and experience. I heard that the previous Hildan Swing was quite relaxing and casual, less formal than all those performances we had. So, I think it would be rather enjoyable one. Not to say that the band had also put in alot of hard work and sacrifices as well.
It's so tiring that though in the holiday, which directly meant to be for all the students to have their well-deserved rests, we still have to go to school. I wonder how nice it would be if for once my entire school holiday does not require me to go to school at all. Anyway, life in Singapore are like that. So Fast and So Furious...(hahas, sound like the movie 2Fast2Furious ri??)

And I have to sell 5 Hildan Swing Ticket. (every band member must sell at least 5 ticket)

NO WAY!!! I can't even sell one ticket at all, let alone 5 tickets.

The So not honest Auntie

Yipee! finally I finish almost everything. Now I think my blog look better now, thanks to Jeremy for pointing out that I have to revert to classic template so to change my blog skin.
I shall start my first actual post about something I encountered when I was shopping at City
Square in Malaysia, JB on last Sunday, the day before Deepavili (if I'm not wrong). Me and my mum were in this particular shop, that sells what teens love to wear, I saw this denim jeans and thought that it would be great to have one as I don't really own a pair of jean and this should be my first one. I tried it on. It was okay. So I decided to buy it but when I look at the price tag, it printed RM89.
What????
A jean like this cost RM89. And let me include this, there are like so many shops selling the same stuff and probably I can find the same pair of jean with a price much lesser than that. Okay, I am a bit thrifty. However, my mum claimed that she will handled it.
so.... my very experienced mother, aka auntie also, an expert at bargaining products, started bargaing with the owner of the shop. In Fact, auntie are honestly very knowledgable in the topic of bargaining, they had the experienced from the market with the butcher, underwear seller, fruit sellers and etc.
My mum suceeded to lower the price to $60.
Hurray!!!!!!! but the owner doesn't seemed to be very pleased with my mum. She did nodded her head and surrended to lower the price to $60. Then when my mum gave her RM100 and was expecting a change of RM40, yet, she got her change of RM30 back. She was super angry but you see, my mum didn't want to quarelled over a pair of jeans with an mendacious Auntie and that's why she let it go.

In the end, I reckon the Auntie actually reflected about her dishonest act as a seller. She will not gain any new customers and much more money if she continue being so ..........

Okay, first of all, I am Lynn. This will be more blog and I hope readers will come and take a look once a while for new update on new topics of my life and etc. I have created a blog back when I was in Primary school back I somehow lost my password and username (I have alot of password so that why!)
